On the first weekend of May Squire Frederick attended the 2009
Towsontown Spring Festival, his first as the Official Town Crier of Baltimore County. The event, sponsored by the Towson Chamber of Commerce, featured a flyover of Air Force C130s at the opening festivities, where Squire Frederick cried a proclamation. Photos:

Squire Frederick offered the opening cry/call to order at Baltimore County's "Salute to Public Saftey" on June 10. The event, which honored the County's long and honorable heritage of public safety, featured a procession and displays of antique equipment and memorabilia from local emergency response and law enforcement agencies.
