Naturalization Ceremonies

DSCN9164 Naturalization Ceremony - July 4, 2014 - Paca House Annapolis MDSquire Frederick has appeared in numerous parades as part of Fourth of July celebrations through the years. Since 2015, he has added a meaningful morning-time  trip to the William Paca House & Garden in Annapolis to his agenda to participate in the United States Naturalization Ceremony.

Here’s the 2015 agenda for the event:

  • “Call to Attention” –  by Squire Frederick Taylor – Annapolis Town Crier
  • “Excerpts fromThe Declaration of Independence” – Someone portrays William Pace (Signer of the Declaration)
  • “Welcoming Remarks” – President and CEO Historic Annapolis
  • “Presentation of Colors and the National Anthem” – NJROTC Cadets, Annapolis High School
  • “The Star-Spangled Banner” – sung by everyone in attendance from words in the program
  • “Introduction of Keynote Speaker” by President and CEO of Historiv Annapolis
  • “Keynote Address” – Maria Contreas-Sweet – Administrator  – U.S. Small Business Administration
  • “Administration of the Oath of Allegiance” – to candidates
  • “Pledge of Allegiance” – recited by canidates and led by Supervisory Immigration Services Officer U. S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
  • “Presentation of Certificates”
  • “Patriotic Songs for the Fourth of July” – Sung by All Children’s Chorus of Annapolis (America; America the Beautiful)
  • “Closing Remarks” – President and CEO Historic Annapolis
  • “Call for Dismissal” – Squire Frederick Taylor
